ENGLAND - LEEDS CASTLE

Leeds Castle is situated in Maidstone Kent and is a charming medieval castle set on two small islands in 500 acres of parkland and gardens.

The Castle dates back to the 9th century and was originally owned by the Saxon Kings. Over the centuries it has played host to a number of royals including six of England's medieval Queens and was a palace of Henry VIII.

Today Leeds Castle is open to the public and has being lovingly restored in all its glory by the Leeds Castle Foundation.
