IRELAND - GLENQUIN CASTLE

Glenquin Castle is situated near Killeedy in Ireland. The castle is thought to have been built in 1462 by the O'Hallinan family who later lost the castle to the O'Briens. However the present structure is thought to date from the time when the Geraldines were in ownership of the castle. The castle is uninhabited today although it is still in relatively good condition.
