SCOTLAND - DUNVEGAN CASTLE

The Castle is located on the Isle of Skye above Dunvegan Loch and is said to be the oldest inhabited castle in Scotland. It has been the home of the Macleod family for over 800 years and today remains the home of the 29th Clan Chief, John MacLeod of MacLeod. Dunvegan was first opened to the public by the 27th Clan Chief in 1933. Today the castle welcomes tens of thousands of visitors through its doors each year.
